Totally agree with Jaymee, the other good thing about Tuban is the that you don't spend 20 minutes trying to extricate yourself from the centre of Kuta everytime you want to go to the airport, Jimbaran or Dempasar. If you don't want to walk there is always a pony, or you can walk along the beach.
Great way to check out just how far a hawker will walk for a sale. We kept telling them they were wearing out their thongs but they just wouldn't listen!!
