Eat Timor Riots

We are off to Bali in a weeks time (and can't wait!!) and have been reading reports about the riots in East Timor over the election that is due to take place this coming Monday. Has anyone in Bali heard anything about it??? Is there any support or protests????? I do not understand the full political implications but I am interested to find out if we may experience any unrest whilst in Bali.

Any comments would be appreciated
