My husband and I stayed at this hotel in May. We loved it! The people are very friendly and helpful. We were in an ocean front room - and couldn't be happier. The pool area is very nice, and the hotel food is very good - but expensive. It is a nice place for a honeymoon - if you are looking for a large hotel. This hotel is huge. It is only about four stories - but there are several buildings. I think Bali is wonderful for a honeymoon - but the rooms at this hotel are a bit hotelish for a honeymoon.
As for food - visit our friends Nyoman and Made at Nyoman's Warung on the main drag. Is is across the way from the La Taverna. Tell them Nate and Meggan sent you! They have great food - and the service is great. It is small - but intimate. Guest go back many times during a visit.
