i've always gone with friends the last two years, prior to that i found bali on a round the world trip(by myself). i would recomend going you will be safe and enjoy everything.
when i tell friends about bali, i describe it as heaven
the locals and travellers are so friendly.
the cost of living is unbelievable(cheap) i would recomend staying in a guesthouse rather than hotels, it'll only cost about £2- per night
they'll be very friendly and it will allow you to meet a lot more people who are travelling by themselves
i'll be in bali from december 11th 99 till 07th january 2k if your there write to me and maybe we can meet for a drink and to travel
