Beer At Midnight

We are two young (40ish) Brits arriving in Bali 25/08/99 at 11:30pm. We're staying at the Grand Mirage, Tengang Benoa. As we are Bali virgins we do'nt want waste our first night, is it possible to get a beer and meet people not too far from the hotel at midnightish.
