There is a great place to stay in Ubud. It's "Melati Cottages" in Penastanan (about 15 minutes walk from the centre of Ubud) and it's quiet and clean and VERY friendly. Moderately priced (about US$40 a night) with pool and breakfast thrown in. Highly recommended!
