For those of you that want to experience the real Bali my friend for the past four years Dewa Made Adiwisma is a driver and guide. He lives in Ubud with his wife and daughter and knows the entire island. He went to school in Lovina and was raised on a small coffee farm in central Bali. I have found him to be extremely honest (he handles all my money exchanges and I have trusted him with several thousands of dollars at many times), knowledgeable of the locations on Bali and of the customs, an excellent safe driver, dependable he is always on time, and he always seems to go out of his way to do something extra for us every year. I have recommended him to all of my friends and they have all raved about him. He is able to help with the best prices for goods and furniture as well as the best place for shipping. His english is very good. He has a great sense of humor and has all the right contacts to make your trip to Bali most memorable. He has a newer Kijang air-conditioned car that can accommodate up to 7 people including the driver. Including everything that he offers he is also reasonably priced.
