We stayed there during its soft opening Xmas 1996. It is located on a cliff around the corner from The 4 Seasons. It has some good restaurants,including a seafood one at the base of the cliff. There is an open air cafe and a fancier open air italian restaurant. the food as one would expect is very good. At the base of the cliff there is a pier which extends out into the ocean beyond the surf where you can have a beer whilst watching the sunset. You cannot swim in the ocean (well you can try but you need a helmet) but there are 2 decent sized pools. We commuted to Jimbaran beach and used the 4Season beach club facitilies. The closest restaurants outside the hotel are on Jimbaran Beach. We enjoyed the luxury. Its not a bad base to travel, it not really very far from Jimbaran (just down the hill).
