AOL uses a global roaming service called GRIC, which they package under their own name. Every such retailer gets to set their own prices for GRIC access, so you may want to see what they have in mind for you. I use a Canadian ISP just for that purpose - they charge something like US$10 for a limited-hours account, $3/month for GRIC (as I recall) and about 6 cents a minute.

The GRIC connection in Denpasar seldom worked at much more than 21kBaud. Also, the phone number in the GRIC dialer is incorrect - visit the home page of the Indonesian host isp at www.indosat.net.id for current numbers before you leave home.
