For the last couple of day's, until this moment, the original (Christian) population of
Ambon, Maluku is under heavvy attack by Moslim attackers
(mainly transmigrants) backed up by paramilitions carrying
mashineguns. The Moslims are wearing white clothes yelling
'Jihad' (holy war.)The army doesn't seem to do much, apart
from the marines, who are still neutral in the conflict.The Ambonese eople are fighting for their lives, with nothing more than knifes, and home-made weapons against a better equipped and organised (From Jakarta) Moslim Majority.
Please help!!!! Make this known in your world!!! To anybody!!! International intervenience is the only thing what might help now!
Christian areas in Ambon city are beeing surrounded now, they have NO chanses against mashineguns and corrupt Militairy. There is shortage of food.
I'm (was) a frequent traveller in the Moluccas, have very
good friends in Ambon,where I always stay, used to celebrate
Christmas with. We are in contact through telephone.
If this doesn't stop, there won't be any Christmas left for the people of Ambon. There is a very dirty play going on in the Spice Islands, directed and well organised straight from Jakarta.
At this moment, Ambon is much worse than East Timor and Aceh together!
This is ethnic cleansing similar to Kosovo.
I've been to both places, and prefere any Ambonese over a thousant Kosovan's!
