tried to follow instructions to go to jimbaran for seafood.
it was the nastiest, dirtiest place i have ever seen. we walked for about 1/2 mile down the beach and it never got better. the prices were high and when i went to look at the fish and where they cooked it, i found where everyone gets bali belly.
i went to a hotel where i also chose my own seafood and it was delicious. there was no smoke (as on jimbaran) no stench of whatever fuel they are using to cook the fish and it was not expensive.
if a health inspector for the usa went on that beach the place would be condemned.
we ate for 2 weeks and none of us ever got sick
2 kids, 2 adults and grandma were traveling
