Dear Katie,
I too have a sensitive tummy but had NO problem with the seafood at INTAN CAFE along the beach. The owner's name is Made Murdita...but he will smile and say you can call him "Blackie." All the seafood is freshly caught and he has it in spring water. Then, after weighing it, they put it on the grill. The dinner includes tomato and onion salad, potatoes, rice and a green vegetable that is hot and spicey. Dessert is fresh fruit. One night we fed five people for about $US 10 apiece including a drink. The least expensive items on the menu are snapper and grouper...the prawns and lobster will cost more. Don't even worry if you don't have rupiah...there's a money changer across the street. And...if you want him to pick you up at your hotel just call...0818352931. Have a great time and happy eating!
