Sorry, it's the only place we've stayed on bali, so no comparison. The rooms are fine, plenty of room, huge bed, etc. Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. Last year we were on the 2nd floor with a little view of the sea, this time on ground level a minute closer to the pool, etc. (You've seen pictures of their pool? It's at least as pretty in real life.) We came back here after considering lots of other places because I think it's the best value - I think the prepaid high season rate was US$100 for a "superior" room incl breakfast and the 21% charges. Quality of everything is appropriate to their 4-star rating, the only minuses being the relative isolation and iffy beach.
