i took my laptop with a standard plug there (PCMCIA 56k) and it worked perfectly! Standard RJxx (not RJ45 that's a networkplug ;o))
Best Inetcafe is BoomBoomPalace juist outside Kuta Centre! Kinda fastest lines i could make out there(still lagged to my home PO but hey).You can use their login to connect to bali.net.id
