Hi there Kuzie
There are places on the internet called "search engines"
Here is a small list of the most popular
Northern Light : http://www.northernlight.com/
Yahoo : http://www.yahoo.com/
Alta Vista : http://www.altavista.com/
Magellan : http://magellan.excite.com/
HotBot : http://www.hotbot.com/
Infoseek : http://infoseek.go.com/
You place what you are looking for , be it a hotel , tour operator or a school project subject
Search engines Use "Key words" to search their data banks for you
If you wanted to find the "Bali Intan Hotel" Try one of the above search engines and type the words "Bali Intan" into the text window and click search. To use more than one word in a search you have to have (") at both ends of the chain of words.
Here is a copy of "My" meta tags :
<meta name="keywords" content="Bali , Bali Hotels , travel , Bali Accomodation , Guide , shopping , hints , accomodation , tours , currency converter , more bali">
<meta http-equiv="distribution" content="global">
When a homepage is placed on the internet the page "should" contain those "meta tags" which search engines use to read what the page is all about. When the search engine has finished searching , a page with a list of URL's will load giving you a choice of all the sites it found containing with the word's "Bali Intan" on them.
When webmasters create a new page they usually list it with all of the most popular search engines for threir data banks to "spider" hence web :)
Hope that helped a bit..
Cheers shar^kie
