First of all, thanks to everyone who has helped me so far with advice, it is good to have such a wealth of knowledge available before we make the 17hour flight from the UK next month (like most poms I reckon that Bali should come to us, washed and tidied, to save us the inconvenience of travel (just kidding).
Asking about particular rooms may sound silly but I have definitely seen somewhere in the archives some advice regarding room numbers. Can I find it now I need it, nope. I ask because I have read that some have been refurbished whilst others are in need of attention and also some are located with sea views etc. Does anyone know anything in this regard or do I just have to keep looking?

PS. Just for info, is the Richard that recently sent me an e-mail promoting another forum likely to me the (in)famous Richard that is sometimes mentioned on this forum? I dont want to rake over old coals, I'm just curious so a simple yes/no would do just fine.
