Hiya fellow Adelaide locals! Our last trip to Bali (June) was our third and we opted to fly Garuda for all the reasons mentioned, direct flight - left at 10.45am arrived Denpasar 1.45pm! & it was $200 cheaper than Qantas!, fantastic flight - new planes (& the man behind the check-in counter at the airport said all of Garudas new planes are built & owned by Qantas anyway)
One week after returning to Adelaide the 6 of us that went got togther, put tarps. up around the pergola area got an outdoor heater and wore all our Bali clothes and enjoyed "returning" to that beautiful island, the only thing missing were the Bintangs...it was great and we will do it again before we head off on our 4th trip (probably not until 2001 unfortunately).
