Begawan Giri was planned over 10 years ago and is still under construction. I've been there 3 or 4 times over the pweriod. Some of the villas have been completed now, and the landscaping is SPECTACULAR.
However, it's far away from EVERYTHING, even from Ubud. If you're on a honeymoon or so and don't want to see anything else -- GO.
But it's expensive. Much more than ANY 5-star hotel. I persaonally think you can rent much better villas in better locations at half the price in Bali.
