We will be visiting Bali between 29SEP99 through 06OCT99. Traveling from NY via YVR and HKG on Cathay. Have done lots of research on internet and forum. Would like some opinions on three places where I have chosen to stay. Three nights at Bali Cliff Resort at USD 70.00net per night (includes welcome drink,fruit in room,free Airport transfer,free use of mountain bikes-fitness center,shuttle bus to Kuta or Nusa). We then plan on staying two nights at Puri Bukit Kembar, Ubud. Package they are offering for USD 80.00++ is a Deluxe room, with breakfast for two. We will be ending our stay with three nights at Hotel Imperial Bali. They are offering, at USD 108.00net, a Deluxe room,(includes Airport transfers, welcome drink and fruit, afternoon tea/coffee, free shuttle to Kuta, free use of sauna,steam bath, tennis, etc. and commemorative gift upon departure). Was wondering if these rates are adequate for the properties. As the taxi/hired driver prices seem ridiculously cheap, we don't plan on just staying at the hotels. Plan on using them as base for exploring those three different areas of Bali. Any info would be very much appreciated.
