Sorry that this isnt an informative post but I just had to write (can you write an e-mail?... err no) Last time I posted I was new to the forum and was about to book the Melia Bali in Nusa Dua for my partner and I in September. Then 'you lot' came along and blew away all my best research by convincing me not to stay in Nusa Dua due to its 'sterility' (been there before, it was called Orlando),(by the way you regulars, whats it like to have power through knowledge eh?). Wanting to avoid the pace of Kuta we have booked to stay at the Grand Bali for a couple of weeks (maybe not the best choice but we dont plan to stay there much so Im sure it will do the job). So now I keep reading and the more I read the more I believe Bali will be more of an 'experience' and less of a 'holiday' than I first thought. Thanks for sharing your experiences, and as I said it cant come soon enough.
