Taxi or Resort shuttle from airport ?

We are staying at Jimbaran Hills resort Nusa Dua, & do not know whether to book the resort shuttle at US$7 per person (there are four of us) which would be app $43 Australian, or risk a taxi. We get in at midnight. According to the map it is app10 KM from the airport to Nusa Dua.
