I took my good camera to Bali, and now it is in the shop
getting a new circuit board, because the other one got
destroyed by moisture. I was pretty careful about using
the camera when it was raining, but I didn't have a water
proof bag that was air tight, and the climate there is
very humid. Next time I go to Bali, I will take one of
those sealable watertight bags like kayakers use, and some
packets of silica gel to keep my equipment bone dry. I
think if the Olympus takes good shots, you would probably
be fine with that. I love taking pictures, and I am glad
I took my camera, but wish I had been more careful with it.
Enjoy the wonderful photo ops there. It is fun to get
people's addresses and send them the shots you take of them
when you get home. I had one roll developed in Bali and
was very disappointed in the quality, so I brought the
rest back to Canada for developing.
