Travel as light as possible! It is hotter and more humid than you can imagine. Feel comfortable and do your own thing. You can always buy sarongs to cover yourself if you need to do the temple thing. Do remember that if you have a favourite outfit - bring it along and they will rip it off for you and you get to choose the fabric. The make-up is usually the same as if you bought it off the rack and you get your own design. They will have it ready for you the next day even if you are having lots made up. If you have a lot made up they will give you a discount so don't be afraid to ask.
