The same day my husband was kept in a room for hours by customs because he had just bought a new camera in Hong Kong and it was before the shops had opened in Hong Kong and they said," this shop is known for marking things down, and we want to wait until this shop opens and find out the real price" We got away with no extra tax, because my husband is always soooo honest! But seriously! I think it's unfair, but the designer people are ON THE CASE, and they really don't like copies of their gear, and they try to make sure that you don't have the opportunity to bring this sort of thing in to any of the world's major airports (with spot checks).. They do have a point. but only up to a point... I think that there should only be about 2 - 3 years copyright on these things. What do you think?
