We have alway been advised to have these injections even for the Med. We have been having them every few years (I think its 3) for about 25 years now. The only discomfort is if you don't keep moving your arm, it costs us nothing in the U.K. to have this jab. But I don't think it costs much anywhere. A friend of my mothers died of Typhoid and I listened carefully to what she said about how he died. It wasn't nice, and this is such a simple jab. If you ever swim in the sea anywhere in the world, this will protect you, (and in a lot of places) now that the world is such a polluted place we need it. Please think about it, you get one jab, then you have a booster every three years, it's worth it. IT DON'T HURT!!!
