Material is aplenty in Bali - you can get it in any shape or form. But now that I've said that I never looked for paisley. I have no doubt that you will find what you are looking for.
There are millions of tailors around - no shortage at all. I've tried four tailors and they've all been great - no worries at all - but make sure you try it all on before you pay (less deposit).
It's really hard to describe the shopping in Bali - I think it's an experience you must have yourself. The markets are great but if you want decent items go to the department stores - you'll be surprised to find pretty good clothes at excellent prices.
But don't expect David Jones or Grace Bros for that matter. Maybe a little like Kmart.
