Spent time in the North of Bali - beautiful time, went diving, snorkelling, trekking in the mountains and spent time learning dancing in a village famous for its dancers.
Stay in Rambutan guesthouse in Lovina - nice people who run it. We ate at many great restaurants - seafood great but Janur's Dive Inn near Lovina stands out in our minds as not only good seafood but nice atmosphere.
Did some shopping in Ubud, but expensive and hard to bargain. Better to go to Sukawati market. If you really miss western food many western tourists restaurants in Ubud now... try Casa Luna or Ary's
Don't miss the Botanical gardens near Bedugul !
