I have been to Bali recently and am e mailing daily with a friend who has been there a month already. Don't know what reports you are refering to. The reports back to the Forum sound mostly like the lovely Bali I know. My friend is finding it lovely, stayed in Ubud most of the time then went to Lovina to snorkle which said was the highlight of her trip.
