We have returned today from a week at the Hotel Padma, Bali that is located on the beach at Legian. We found the resort better than say the Fijian in Fiji by way of example and the benefit of this property is that you can be self contained and not leave the hotel or you have a range of options like shopping, restaurants, night clubs etc etc all within close distance! As for the hawkers i found that game fun. We fully recommend the Padma. Willie the activities officer there is really helpful and can arrange a special dining experience at his Jimbarian bay restaurant.
