From my experience I have found that Fuji print film is best for greens - and there is plenty of green in Bali. On the other hand if you are using slide film I would probably tend towards Kodak.Slides will give you the best reproduction but obviously aren't as convenient as prints. Having prints developed in Bali is fairly cheap and all of the shops I have dealt with there have been reliable.
If most of your shots will be outside 100 ASA or even less would be ideal. These days print definition for film speeds up to 400 ASA is very good. Try to take your photos before mid-morning or after mid-afternoon - the quality of light is so much nicer.
I would take both cameras - perhaps you could load one with print film and one with slide film.
Have fun there - with a camera or two you will bring home some wonderful memories.
