Nusa Dua is lovely, very peaceful and extremely safe. You will not be disappointed in it. I suggest you base yourself in the one place and take day trips etc. from the hotel. I have the name of a wonderful guy who has a mini van who we used to go everywhere. The Galleria, which is a shopping centre & restaurants galore is excellent. A little more expensive than shopping in Kuta but you don't have the hassles of Kuta either. You can have a three course meal for around $20 Aussie dollars including drinks.
My husband and I are thinking of going again in November.
