I haven't stayed in Kupu -Kupu for nearly 2 1/2 years, last year we did try to get hold of them via the Bali-online, it didn't work and at that time I don't think they were 'on'. However sharkie is probably right that they are now, they have to be. So use the address that he gave you. The only thing is that unless they have increased enormously in size (and I can't think where they would do this) they don't have garden pool rooms, only the Barong suite, and that is very much a honeymoon suite, with an almost full size swim-pool and therefore rather expensive, but absolutely divine) If you want to stay at the Kupu then choose room no 4, because it is 4 steps from the smaller of the two pools that they have there (apart from the barong suite pool) I don't have up to date prices, but it wasn't too bad the last time we were there, and it has two bedrooms, sitting room, huge bath with the usual other (basin and loo etc.) The place is much smaller than the Pita Maha, the view is better, it doesn't have the heavenly spa that the Pita Maha has, but because it overlooks the Ayung it does come accompanied with the screams of the white water rafters in the afternoons, but that didn't worry us. We have never bargained on the net for the Kupu, and so I don't know what reaction you will get, the management the last time we were there was European, and therefore I don't know how it would go down, but just try if it is the place that you want. The Pita Maha will bargain on line , if you want to know what we paid then e-mail me, it's not fair to put the whole thing down here. Pitamaha e-mail is:
