You would miss one of the greatest pleasures of Bali i.e. Eating Out. The private restaurants nowadays offer a good choice of different cuisines and quite acceptable quality.

Don't expect international gourmet standards, but the food in most outside restaurants is 50% to 80% cheaper than in hotels, and MUCH more interesting. A good start to plan your dinners is the web site below.
