Ubud. Just email me if you would like to know more..
As we like Ubud the best because it's very central and it ‘has' something we always are there for a week or so. Wouldnt mind to be there longer cause there is a lot to do. Even after 4 times.
This time stayed in Hotel Vila Bukit. It was alright I guess for what I paid (40 US double room) but too far away from Ubud. They had a shuttle which was sometimes for free and sometimes we had to pay for it?! Nice staff anyway and a beautiful view.
Other years we stayed in the Chedi (beautiful and good kitchen) and Champlung Sari (great and nice kitchen too)
Did de cookingclass at Casa Luna which was absolutely great. Would really recommend this. Price was 100.000 rup. Which was cheap cause it included the food.
Did also do the Bali Herbwalk. Nice but way too expensive (18 US dollar). Good businessman this little fellow who is studying herbs and knows a lot about them.
Favourite restaurants : Restaurant Indus , Casa Luna, Ryoshi, Bumbu Ary's.
Lotus was not as good anymore. No pond.
Amed
We went for 3 days to Amed. Hotel Indra Ydhyana. Beautiful and nice kitchen. Nice swimmingpool too.
Tanah lot. We stayed 5 nights in the Meridien. If you like it very luxury I would recommend that. Staff is nice little bit too polite maybe. My husband was very exited about the Golf-park . If you like golf it's really worth it.
Legian. We stayed 5 nights in the Legian. Wonderful hotel, nice architecture. The kitchen was superb! Try the duck. Never tasted any better.
