There are a variety of bikes availabe with all the latest features. (dual suspension, lever gears etc.) Most are Korean/Indonesian equevelants of the more Popular International models.
Your physical size and specific reqwuirements for a bike are important. I am tall and often had a problem finding the right size, but if you have medium requirements you can find cool bikes in most places. It is possible to rent a ''perfect'' bike in say Kuta for a good long term rate, but you can find bikes everywhere, so it could be a drag to store, ferry, protect from theft (especially Lombok.
