Just to tell you that my last guests stayed at the Four Seasons Resort at Sayan village, near Ubud, and they really loved it. The panoramic view was breathtaking, easy to "melt" into the natural surroundings. The staff was exceptionally friendly (also a trend of the Balinese character).
The region of Ubud is much more different than in the South, along the beaches. The atmosphere and the people show a big contrast with the Southern region.
I am a cultural hostess and I enjoy to explain to people what they see and experience and what they may not see otherwise.
Ubud is an excellent location for starting excursions.
