4 days in Sanur will not only cost you a lot less, but you will be within easy reach of the rest of Bali (Nusa Dua can be a bit remote).
Staying in a 4 or 5* hotel in Sanur will give you access to the beach, but also allow you to try out many local resturants ($5 -$10 for a main meal and drinks). From there it is also easy to do a few trips to places such as Kuta, Ubud or other places which appeals to you.
