Good question. The best quality guitars i saw in Bali was Yamaha 6/12 strings in Denpassar. Bottom end models. I can not recall seeing a locally made 6 string acoustic guitar anywhere, except a lady sized model in Ubud. Beautifull but unplayable. Locally made Gamelan instruments are available in Ubud and Denpassar. Your best bet for guitars would probably be Ubud. Somehow I doubt it. ciao.
