We were in Ubud at the end of March for 6 days and had the luck to stay at Pita Maha in a private small villa, absolutelly gorgeous. We checked out Four Seasons and Amandari in Ubud (abuot 3 to 4 times the price of Pita Maha) and still think we had nicer accomodations. The Indus restaurant 100 yards down the street is beautiful and reasonable priced, facing the same magnificent valley. Try to get a villa, they have only 20, half with private pools.(I found the outdoor marble bathtub great!)They have a web site .
