Well this Y2K thing is one of those risk factors that cannot be assessed until that night of the 31st December, 1999. It'll either be scaremongering or it won't be scaremongering. After having read that a lot of minor airports in the USA haven't done anything about it, and that French railways, have decided that it is a plot cooked up by the British and the Americans, and therefore they have no worries, and that Kenya was asked what they were doing and the reply was," we confidently expect to have finished work on this by April 2000", I have decided to stay at home, with all the doors closed and the television on, (until/if/when it goes off) and see what happens. In any case the real millenium is the following year, and I think that it might be safer to celebrate then!
