what has actually caused it, the advice given by Phil and W.Agirl. will work if it's mildish, but if it really is a humdinger then further measures might be needed. My son had a really BAD case of Delhi belly once 24 hours before taking the plane back to England, with no money left to spare to change his flight, and stay on until it was over, he was forced to get imodium injections from a doctor to 'hold him together' until his arrival at heathrow. It worked to a degree, he still needed the doctor again when he got home, but he wasn't either embarassed or an embarassment on the plane! Hope this helps.
