We took one of the recommendations posted on this website and hired Ketut Ciri for three days over Easter weekend. He was quite charming, pleasant, knowledgeable and a terrific guide. He picked us up at the hotel and drove us all over the island in his air-conditioned minivan and showed us the beauty of Bali. We were a bit unprepared for our trip and he was quite helpful in building our itinerary with interesting things. He took us to Ubud, Lake Bratan, Mount Batur, Uluwatu Temple and other fascinating places. He shared his knowledge of his culture and religion with us and we became good friends by the end of our trip.
