Stay an extra week. There is so much to see and do it would be a shame to go home after only one week. After a week in Kuta you will probably be ready for a change of pace. My choice would be to go to Ubud and do some touring of the island from there. You can see a lot in 4 or 5 days and spend the last couple of days back on a beach relaxing before heading home. Look through the Forum for 'trip reports' or 'just backs'. There are several every week and lots in the archives. Keep checking the Forum and you will have enough ideas to fill 2 months rather than 2 weeks. Have fun. Sue
