After posting my original message I have just remembered one or two other things that may be helpful.
Money changers
Be careful they will rip you off if they are given half the chance and there are alot of dodgy notes floating around Bali at the moment. When we changed money we always went in twos and double checked everything, but we even got ripped off i still don't know how, But take my advice get your money changed at the bank you get the notes you want, you know they are good, and banks will not rip you off.
All you clubbers remember the penalties for drugs, there are lots of western people staying in bali longer than they thought they would. You will be offered Blow and E's on the street but don't be a fool any one of these guys could be a informer. If you need a little something to keep you going when the others drop go to any chemist and ask for Ephidrine it will cost about 4,500rps and its not outlawed, you will recieve a tube of about 20 tablets that act like a mild form of speed 3/4 should be good enough to keep you going, and don't worry its sold as an appitite suppressant.
Worried about ladyboys we didn't see any at least I don't think so, we were told to look out for the Adams apple, Large hands, and big feet, Nobody wants that kind of shock
