Mosquito protection? (allergy to bites)

Hello-
I am going to Bali in May for a wedding, and I am highly allergic to mosquito bites. I swell up and am MISERABLE!
Even worse, mosquitoes flock to me as if I am dessert.
I don't wear perfume, either!

Please, aside from the topical treatment, do you have any homeopathic preventatives to those nasty flying syringes (Garlic pills, etc)?
