Prams are a good idea for sleeping kids. However we found the waiters really would rather play with our kids than serve us dinner, and often took them off for a walk to allow us to eat in peace, sometimes I got a bit worried when the went out of sight, but of course, all was well. We have travelled a lot with our three children and have found a pusher to be a great advantage just make sure it is of the light fold up kind, as we found the flight attendants usually allow you to store it inside the cabin which makes things a lot easier on disembarkment. Just something else to mention, we travelled to Europe from Australia (30 hours) when my son was a baby and he was very irritable (screaming) for the whole trip (the worst 30 hours of my life). We found out later that he had an ear infection, I felt terrible, but the poor thing couldn't tell us. Anyway, something to suck on for your older child and maybe breast or bottle for baby during landing an takeoff is a good idea. Our children are a bit older now and chewing gum is the best thing.
I know I am rambling a bit, I could go on and on, sorry. A pram will be useful and if you don't always use it while you are in Bali, it is invaluable for hanging around airports.
