I would like to know if any of you who have used the recommended driver-guides on Harold's list could tell me if their price (usually 20-30$/day) include lodgings and meals. If not what sort of hotel and meal is expected? Also, if you hire a guide and travel into the island changing places, what do you do if you don't need the guide for a day or two when you just want to relax and wander around by foot? Does he go home and then come back to get you later or are you expected to lodge and feed him for those few days? Can anyone clarify this for me?
