If you stay there for a couple of weeks, you'll stop having to convert because you get a sense of how much things should be. However, as a rough guide, we would convert on the basis of there being 5000rps to the Australian dollar (of course it is often a bit more than this, but it means things are actually cheaper than the converted rate). Thus 100,000rps is $20. Just divide by 5000. So for your example, I'd go "that's 2 lots of 100,000rps = $20 x 2, plus 67,000rps = about another $13, so that costs about $53.
