I contacted the resort some time ago about mulit-night packages. I had read a couple of fantastic reviews in glossy magazines that seemed to make the place sound perfect for my stay in Bali. I received a reply that included a package rate and also listed several options. Amazingly, this "deal" was priced higher than the rates published in the articles I read, even though the rupiah was doing worse. The options included items listed in one publication as complimentary. Some of the items were also priced double what they had been listed as in an online guide. I asked specific questions about meal and beverage prices, as well as about local eating places other than their place. These questions were overlooked in their reply. Obviously I did not book with them!
