I have been to both Tannah Lot and Uluwatu and found that Tannah lot was nicer. The temple is quite spectacular sitting in the water and if you go at dinner time you can watch the sunset while eating a meal at one of the restaurants on the cliff. Uluwatu is nice also, but not as dramatic as Tannah Lot, the monkeys are thiefs as well and you have to be careful they dont accost you. If you have time, do both, but if you are on a tight schedule, I would recommend Tannah Lot. Hope this helps.
